I came across these horses while hiking in the Bear River Mountains. They were just standing on a small hill just left of the trail. I'm glad I had my camera. They stood, almost as if posing for a family portrait. There were forest fires in nearby states that caused the air to diffused and soften everything you looked at. This image has a muted and dreamy look to it.
